Meetingmax Teams Up with Four New CVBs

We're excited to announce that we've teamed up with four new Convention & Visitor Bureaus, allowing them to offer housing in their destinations. The following CVBs will use the Meetingmax housing software to streamline and manage hotel reservations for large scale events in their region:

  1. Stevens Point Area CVB
    "Nestled in the center of Wisconsin, at the crossroads of Highway 10 and Interstate 39, Stevens Point is a fun place to visit and a wonderful place to live." The Stevens Point Area CVB is aiming to run 7-10 events through Meetingmax their first year. They needed a housing solution which could effectively manage multiple sub-blocks as they have annual sporting tournaments with 48-60 teams participating.

  2. Visit Winston Salem
    "Winston-Salem, North Carolina is known for its diversity of business and community. With a strong and unwavering commitment to the arts, excellence in healthcare research and technology, and opportunities for specialized and advanced education, Winston-Salem truly is the City of Arts and Innovation." The CVB plans to run 8-10 events through Meetingmax their first year. They chose Meetingmax as their housing provider as they needed a system which allowed for real-time reporting and monitoring of room blocks.

  3. Visit Overland Park
    "Award-winning dining, family-friendly entertainment, world-class sports facilities —Overland Park, Kansas, offers all of this and more." The Overland Park CVB is excited to use the Meetingmax software to manage hotel reservations for their various sporting tournaments. The destination hosts 50 - 75 tournaments annually and plans to start implementing housing for their Fall softball and baseball tournaments.

  4. Visit Lubbock
    "Since 2004, Visit Lubbock has booked more than 3,579 events or conventions, resulting in 2.86 million visitors, 943,570 room nights, and $297 million in direct economic impact to the Lubbock area." They chose Meetingmax as their housing solution to limit bookings outside the block and to track the economic impact of their events.

These destinations were looking for a simple solution to manage hotel reservations for events using multiple hotel properties. They wanted something user friendly for them, and their
 hotel partners, and felt that Meetingmax was the best fit due to the integration with Simpleview CRM. Through the integration they can:

  • seamlessly pull hotel data and images into Meetingmax saving time on system setup;
  • increase their CRM database with qualified leads;
  • ask targeted questions to an attentive audience during the reservation process, collecting valuable marketing information;
  • transfer final event hotel pickup in Meetingmax back to CRM to track the economic pickup of their events.
